10 Favorite Ways to Eat Ground Beef

The first time we bought a quarter grass-fed beef for our little family, I was extremely overwhelmed with how much ground beef we got. Times have certainly changed because we go through it pretty easily now. It may have something to do with all of these awesome recipes I've acquired...!

It is still kind of funny though, because we shared a beef with a few of our neighbors at the start of the year and then one of them moved last month, so we ended up buying most of theirs too.

So we are kind of swimming in ground beef again but this time I'm much more prepared to get through it! I guess it's good that we have so much ground beef, since I have a much harder time getting myself to eat a steak while I'm pregnant. When it's ground and thrown into these delicious recipes, I don't seem to have any issues with it. :)

Here it is... 10 of my favorite ways to eat ground beef along with their recipes.

Homemade Breakfast Sausage - I love knowing exactly what's in my sausage, so there's no zombies included! I pre-mix the sausage seasoning in a large batch so that I can have it available for many rounds of sausage. I also will cook about a pound of it on food prep days and throw some into a breakfast egg hash along with a bunch of veggies and sometimes some sliced avocado on top. They are great flavors and it mixes up the taste of breakfast a bit.

Shepherds Pie - This is definitely a favorite at our house and has gotten amazing feedback from friends and family we've made it for as well. It is the essence of warm, savory goodness!

B's Primal Burger - You really, really don't need the bun when you have things like, grilled onions, avocado, bacon, sometimes cheese or a fried egg on a bed of lettuce with your grass-fed beef burger. Seriously, the flavors are absolutely amazing! If you really want a bun for your burger, try a sweet potato bun!

Stirfry - It is super simple but tastes great. You can literally throw in any vegetables and seasonings you want with the ground beef and it will likely turn out pretty good.

Herb Meatballs - I really like to make meatballs and then serve them over spaghetti squash or something like zucchini noodles with marinara sauce. Yum! Tonight I served them over sautéed cabbage and I really liked it. Fitting in more veggies can be easier than you think with some friendly noodle replacement options!

Stuffed Cabbage Rolls - I don't make these nearly enough but I think they are fantastic and make delicious left-overs!

Spaghetti Squash Bolognese - Savory & heavenly. Need I say more? Okay... now I really want to make this one. Soon!

Taco Salad - Alright, it doesn't really have a recipe, but I do use homemade pre-mixed spices to season the meat. I typically make the salad with a lovely bed of greens, the seasoned meat, half of a mashed avocado, olives, some cilantro, and a squeeze of lime juice. Sometimes I'll add a little cheese or salsa as well. This is a fail-proof meal for me most days. I love the flavors and it doesn't get old to me.

Primal Pizza - Oh yes... I am a meat-lovers pizza kind of girl (I do throw on plenty of veggies too...) When making pizza, I will usually season the ground beef with either breakfast sausage or italian sausage pre-mixed seasonings I make.

Lettuce Wraps - I am not too consistent with using the same recipe to make my lettuce wraps but they always seem to turn out delicious. It's such a quick and tasty summer food too!
