It's been a crazy busy day but I wanted to stop and take the opportunity to be thankful today. Part of striving for an optimal life, for me, is to remember to keep things simple when I can. So in the spirit of simplicity, I'm going to be brief but say that today I am grateful for the ability to give.I picked up a couple of gifts today for an Angel Tree I participate in each year. I don't know the girl who will be receiving one of the gifts I bought, but I really enjoyed imagining her excited face when she opens the cute pajamas I chose for her. It makes me feel happy to have the ability to give, and to hope that it will brighten some sweet little girl's day. I love how all the frivolous worries on my mind disappear when I imagine this precious girl. I hope the pajamas warm more than just her little toes this holiday season :)
