In the spirit of trying to be grateful all year long... it's Thankful Thursday! Today I feel extremely grateful to be a wife and mother to the two most handsome boys I know! :) They light up my life every day. They make me laugh constantly and inspire me to try to become better. I literally cannot get enough of them.My sweet 6 month old is the most passionate, social, energetic, & funny boy! We giggle so much together, to the point that my cheeks ache. He's definitely a mama's boy right now, which can be exhausting but I'm honored to be his mom! He has amazing, happy eyes that are constantly engaged in absorbing everything he sees. He makes me want to teach him every possible thing that I can. I'm often shocked at just how much work it is to raise a healthy, happy baby but it's absolutely worth it!
My husband is so dedicated and works extremely hard so I can stay home with our son. I love that we can talk about anything, you name it! We set goals together and figure out daily, doable steps to help each other be successful. My favorite moments are laughing together until we are basically crying! He inspires me to try to be kinder and enjoy every good thing life has to offer. He is what I consider to be a "lover of life" and sees the good wherever he goes. I admire and love how often he says "I have a lot to be happy about" when I ask him why he's smiling. Can you imagine how different this world would be if we were all little more like that in our thinking? I think this positive attitude attracts great opportunities into his life.
Being a wife and mother is tough and requires a lot. Some days really are tiring and draining. Sometimes I just don't want to wash another dish, fold another piece of laundry, change another diaper, or make one more meal. Thankfully, my sweet husband is great at helping out whenever he can. But I do these things because I want to give my boys the best life I can offer. I love watching and being a part of their daily growth and development. They build me up, bring joy, and make me complete! Each day with my boys, convinces me more and more that I am the luckiest girl ever!
